The National Rural Employment Guarantee Act (Section IV) requires each State Government to formulate a "Rural Employment Guarantee Scheme" (REGS) in order to give effect to the guarantee of employment. Each REGS is required to have the minimum features specified in Schedule I of the Act, and is also expected to be consistent with the NREGA Guidelines formulated by the Central Government (available here). The Rural Employment Guarantee Schemes of various State Governments will be posted on this page as and when they become available.
